AFRICAN SAFARI CORPORATION: Cameroon offers a wide variety of unique species for hunters interested in hunting big game in West Africa including Lord Derby eland, West Africa Savannah buffalo, roan antelope, hippopotamus, Western kob, sing sing waterbuck, Bohor reedbuck, harnessed bushbok, red river hog and many more. African Safari Corporation is pleased to offer two hunting concessions in this vast region to provide the best opportunity to hunt all the available game (Faro Coron Concession at 200,000 acres and Wild Kingdom Concession at 300,000 acres). This 10-12 day 1x1 hunt adventure is for one hunter on open dates in December, 2016 through May, 2017 or alternately the following 2017/2018 year. Game to be hunted at the cost of the trophy fee include 2x Class A species: Lord Derby eland (3,500 Euro) and Western Savanna buffalo (1,800 Euro); 2x Class B species: Western kob (500 Euro) and Western hartebeest (800 Euro); and 2x Class C species: oribi (300 Euro) and red flanked duiker (250 Euro). A $19,500 deposit will be required at booking to reserve hunt dates. Method of take is rifle .375 H&H or similar caliber with 40 to 50 rounds. This hunt may be upgraded to include additional species and hunting days at current rates (please contact outfitter with options). Additional hunters are welcome at current rates; non-hunters are welcome at $400/day. Transportation during the hunt is mostly by vehicle and foot. This donation includes field prep, trackers/porters/camp staff, fully equipped hunting vehicle, round-trip transportation between Garoua, Cameroon and the hunt concession, lodging (with king sized beds, hot & cold running water, flush toilets, solar electricity and beautiful views of the Faro River), evening cocktails, laundry service and delicious freshly prepared meals. Tigerfishing can be arranged during non-hunting periods at no additional cost and nearby natural pools surrounded by untouched nature offers a chance to relax and cool down. Not included are visas/firearm permits, hunting license (1,000 Euro), gratuities, celebration drinks offered to camp staff, dipping/packing/crating/shipping, veterinary fees, satellite phone use, accommodations before/after hunt in Douala ($300/night), insurance, personal expenditures, rifle hire (30 Euro/day), trophy fees and 10% Village Tax on all trophy fees. NOTE: All trophy fees are payable at camp in Euro. Shooting a female of any species is strictly prohibited by law and will result in a double trophy fee charge and loss of the opportunity to take the male of the same species. Lost or wounded animals will be charged at the full trophy fee. Animals taken for the purpose of baiting (if upgrading) will charged at the full trophy fee.
