10-Day safari (includes arrival and departure days) for (2) hunters/anglers with (1) professional guide in Zimbabwe with wingshooting in the hunting area; Tiger-fishing on the Zambezi River; and a stay in Victoria Falls at the luxurious Gorges Lodge. Day 1: Arrive in Victoria Falls and transfer to the hunting camp. A luxury permanent camp situated just outside Hwange National Park. Four spacious lodges are built overlooking a well-used water hole. The lodges are exquisitely furnished and have en-suite showers, toilets and washbasins with hot and cold running water. Day 2-4: Bird shooting in and around the hunting area depending on time of year species mix will include guinea fowl, francolin of several species and doves - accommodation and meals at the hunting camp. Day 5: Transfer to Sidinda Island Lodge on the Zambezi River for game viewing, boating and fishing on the afternoon of day 5 and all day on day 6 & 7. Sidinda has spacious thatched chalets built on stilts overlooking the Zambezi River, including en-suite showers, toilets and washbasins with hot and cold running water. Day 8-9: Transfer to the magnificent Gorges Lodge, which is situated on the edge of the Zambezi River Gorge, several kilometers downstream fror the famous Victoria Falls. Gorges Lodge is built from brick and natural stone under thatch. Undoubtedly the premier attraction at Gorges is the dramatic view on the Zambezi River, 250 meters below. On the afternoon of day 8 and all of day 9, you will have the option to visit and view the spectacular Victoria Falls, traditional dancing, sundowner cruise on the Zambezi, village and school tour, or the Nature Sanctuary and Crocodile Farm. Day 10: Depending on the time of your departure from Victoria Falls, enjoy a leisurely morning, breakfast or local sights and then depart for home. Items Included: All accommodations; food and beverages of a local nature; laundry; activities and service of a fully licensed guide and vehicle; bird hunting and fishing during the safari days; ground transfer to/from Victoria Falls Airport and between camps; and the activities previously mentioned at Gorges Lodge. Items not included: Bird licenses @ $100 per week/per area/per hunter; shotgun ammo (at cost per box); park entry fees @ $20 per person per day; Medical Air Rescue Insurance $200 per client per safari; gratuities; international phone service and faxes; air charters, if requested; hotels before and after the safari; and activities around Victoria Falls other than items included at Gorges Lodge. This trip is available May through October of 2012 only, based upon availability of dates at time of booking. Hunters are to furnish their own 12-gauge shotgun, fishing rods and tackle. Safari may be upgraded at current price in the outfitters brochure. Additional bird hunters/anglers may be added to this safari at $350 per person per day and non-hunters at $285 per person per day.
