This hunt includes a 5-day plains game hunt for one hunter and one observer with Jofie Lamprecht Safaris with Professional Hunter and photographer Jofie Lamprecht, hosted by photographer Monica Keasler-Lamprecht. This donation includes $2,000 credit towards plains game trophy fees. This donation also includes a Desert Tour and a Dolphin Cruise for four in Swakopmund, two of the best things to do while there! During your stay with us, you will be treated to luxury accommodation, breath taking views, a personal chef who prepares mouth-watering African cuisine for you and your family or friends, and a daily laundry service. Hunting is done in the classic style of walk and stalk in abundant wildlife areas with consistent excellent trophy quality. The hunting daily rates for this safari can be credited towards an upgraded / extended plains game safari. The winning bidder is encouraged to add a photographic safari to see other remarkable areas of Namibia at an extra charge, either before or after their hunt. We highly recommend Etosha National Park and the tropical coastal town of Swakopmund. Etosha National Park covers an area of 15 000 square miles, it is home to 144 mammal species and 340 different bird species. One of the largest savannah conservation areas in Africa, Etosha National Park is world renowned for its spectacular wildlife: elephant, black and white rhinoceros, lions, leopards, cheetahs, large herds of springbok, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and a multitude of other fascinating species, big and small, interacting in their natural environment. In Swakop (as it is affectionately referred to by locals) activities include fishing tours (both edible and shark), living desert tours, museums, short marine cruises and adventure activities such as quad biking and sand-boarding in the desert dunes. Excludes: Weapon hire and ammunition; Packing and shipping costs of trophies and souvenirs/curios; Alcoholic beverages; Transportation to other areas on client's request; Personal items purchased at client's request; Hotels and air fares before and after the Safari; Trophy fees for Cape buffalo, White Rhino, Leopard, Roan, Sable, Cheetah, Damara Dik-dik,
Klipspringer and Black-faced Impala, although these species are available as optional upgrades. Good for 2013 season only. Total donation by Jofie Lamprecht Safaris $10,500. Joshua Spies donation: Joshua has developed a remarkable international career as a wildlife artist. The number of awards and recognitions he has received are too numerous to list, with the most recent being the Federal Duck Stamp Competition. A number of his painting of wildlife carry emotional moods that strongly inspire admiration for the animals and birds he has studied. His wildlife art finds poetry in nature, and he communicates with his subjects. Indeed, his work is more than that of an American painter, he is an international artist that is proud of the transcendent feelings his paintings carry. The original 11 X 14 inch painting by Joshua Spies, has a value of $5,000. Dallas Safari Club thanks Jofie Lamprecht Safaris and Joshua Spies Art Design for this 100% donation.
