Adventure into the Kuranui.' Take this fantastic opportunity for two to hunt in New Zealand for 5 days during May, June or July, 2013 or 2014. This offer is a hunting experience at Kuranui situated in the Kaimai-Mamaku Range of New Zealand's North Island. For each hunter a silver medal trophy red stag scoring up to 310", also a complimentary night shoot for small game, opossums and rabbits. This hunt includes four nights' luxury accommodation and meals at Kuranui Lodge. Your stay is exclusive as we have only one party at Kuranui at any time. The package includes: trophy fees for 2x silver medal red stags, 2x1 guide services, field preparation and delivery of trophies to expediter or taxidermist, accommodation, meals, pre dinner NZ beers and exquisite NZ wine with evening meals. Exclusivity at Kuranui and transfers to and from Rotorua airport if required. (All inclusive of 15% NZ goods and services tax). Not included: any other accommodation arrangements, extended stay at Kuranui, additional guests, additional trophies and upgrades, other alcoholic beverages, firearms permit ($25), taxidermy, packaging/expediting, transportation to/from Auckland Airport to the hunting location ($215/pp rt) and gratuities. A reasonable standard of fitness is an advantage, however all guests are assured of an exciting and successful hunt at Kuranui. Red stag upgrades and other trophy animals including fallow bucks, wapiti bulls, rusa and sika stags. New Zealand feral goats and Arapawa rams can be added to this hunt. Additional hunters or non-hunters are welcome. Rifles and ammunition can be supplied in .30cal WSM, .30.06 and .308 caliber. Ammo at cost. Kuranui has an air of seclusion and remoteness while still being within easy traveling distance of a huge range of other activities. World class trout fishing, pheasant, quail and duck shooting, coastal fishing or diving adventures can be included. An extended stay at Kuranui can be arranged to take advantage of the magnificent Central North Island Thermal Tourist attractions, adventure activities and shopping. Built by Mort and Mel it is the first of its kind in New Zealand using straw bale construction. Plush super king beds and ensuites, under floor heating and the huge open fireplace make this a luxurious hunters retreat. The food from Mel's kitchen is delicious and she specializes in game cuisine. (Her char grilled venison rack with wine and berry sauce is legendary!) Morning mist shrouds the Kaimai-Mamaku ranges where pure clear water tumbles out of the lush ancient forests.
