BUTCH KUFLAK AND JUSTIN YOUNG: Stunning 12”x10” bronze “Proud and Strong” was donated by renowned sheep hunter Butch Kuflak (12 Grand Slams), and internationally known Artist Justin I. Young. Young has been a major fundraiser for Ducks Unlimited, Wild Sheep Foundation, Ovis, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, the American Cancer Society and many other organizations over the years. He has hunted Africa many times, has collected the Big Five, and is now devoting more time hunting mountain game to aide in the creation of his highly sought after paintings and sculptures. The bronze “Proud and Strong” stands proudly on display in the DSC foyer to be admired by all. The winning bidder's name will be added to the base of this piece and they will receive a magnificent bronze replica. Auction proceeds will be shared by Wounded Warriors Outdoors, Inc. (WWO) and DSC Foundation (DSCF). Both organizations are 501(c)(3) charitable organizations. REFERENCE “CHARITABLE DEDUCTION QUALIFICATIONS” IN THE OFFICIAL AUCTION RULES SECTION OF YOUR AUCTION CATALOG. Separate payments to WWO and DSCF will be required. DSCF's mission is to empower today's youth with the awareness to appreciate and embrace all outdoor and wildlife conservation skills thus enabling them to be educated, accomplished and respectful stewards of the world's natural resources and to instill them with the passion to pass their knowledge to future generations. The WWO is a volunteer non-profit organization founded to provide combat wounded active duty men and women with therapeutic outdoor opportunities throughout North America. These programs help ease the mental, physical, and emotional challenges faced by these young American heroes and give them the opportunity to once again enjoy the great outdoors that they have sacrificed so unselfishly to protect.
