Plumlee and South Pacific Safaris on this 5-day/4-night 1x1 rifle hunt for one hunter in New Zealand - includes 1x red stag scoring 320-360 SCI for both the lucky winner and SSg Earl Plumlee (FEW details below). When not in the field, wind down in the lodge with professionally prepared meals and attentive lodge staff. Accommodations include private rooms with lounge, king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms. This estate hunt is available July 2026 or May-July 2027 and may be upgraded to include larger stag scoring 360-400 SCI at $3,500 and tahr at $5,500. Additional hunters are welcome at $500/day with 10% going back to The FEW (Foundation for Exceptional Warriors); non-hunters are welcome at $275/day. This package includes field prep, transportation to local shipper/taxidermist, RT transfers from Christchurch Airport, luxury accommodations, meals, guide service, Wi-Fi, maid/laundry service and full bar, including beer & wine. Not included are dip & pack service, before/after hunt expenses and gratuities. On August 28, 2013, while serving with 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) in Afghanistan, Staff Sgt. Earl D. Plumlee distinguished himself by displaying extraordinary heroism above and beyond the call of duty. When insurgents breached Forward Operating Base Ghazni, Plumlee charged toward the attack, shielding his comrades and engaging multiple enemies at close range. Despite being wounded by an exploding suicide vest, he continued to fight, rescued a fellow soldier under fire, and helped secure the area. His courage, selflessness, and unwavering devotion to duty reflect the highest traditions of the U.S. Army and the Special Forces Regiment. Master Sgt. Plumlee is now recently retired and is excited to fulfil his dream hunt of red stag in New Zealand. DSC reference includes Clyde Wyatt.
